Hetalia Philippines OC

Description

My version of a Hetalia Philippines, made before I biased my mind by going around and looking at other people's versions. XD I noticed that most Piri-tans are female, and now that I think about it, most Filipino stereotypes are female, but when I thought him up he just came up as a male. O_O

I'm going to make a fancomic about him. :3

The only thing about him that really changed from the time I thought him up was the little ponytail that he dyes...I notice some guys here go around growing some of their hair longer than the rest of it and then dying it...Even little boys, but theirs isn't dyed yet...And I thought, each hetalia character seems to have something unique to his/her appearance if not in personality (Italy's flyaway curl, Japan's emotionless eyes...etc), so I just decided to put it in. >_>

I don't intent to insult anyone with this. Take note, I'm Pinay too, and I'm just pointing out some strange things in the country. XD After all, Hetalia is all about strange things. Well, point it out if I screwed something up anyway.

I also don't own Hetalia, else he wouldn't be a FANcharacter.
Age: 15-16

----------

Piri-kun is generally optimistic and lively. He can't take things seriously sometimes, but that's what makes him fun to be with. He doesn't really like to fight, and believes that negotiation is always better.

He is actually good at a lot of things, but sometimes when he doesn't feel like it, he can be awful. (Have you heard my neighbors sing?)

He's a little different from the other Asian countries, but he doesn't feel bad about it and is proud to be unique. It mostly comes from the fact that he was raised by Spain, who is European, after all.

Piri-kun's house is in the province, although he lives in a somewhat civilized town. It's sort of messy in there since he isn't home too often, but when other countries come and visit him, he does his best to clean up. He goes to school when he can, but most of the time he's out in the fields or vending ice cream/taho or driving his tricycle (yes we call pedicabs tricycles) for people or, a lot of times, working for the other countries.

He drives a tricycle and a jeepney, but I'm not so sure if that's really legal at his age...*shot*Speaking of which, he does a couple of illegal stuff (LOOK AT HIS HAND), but they're nothing really too bad and they're mostly just naughty little tricks.

(For those Filipinos here, I noticed one of the signs at a road now says "Bawal tumawid; May namatay na dito" instead of the usual "Bawal tumawid; Nakakamatay." O_O)

He works hard to make a living, but oftentimes he misspends it on electronics or gaming or something and ends up working harder. He's always late at things, but he makes a point of being carefree at nearly everything.

He's a little dumb (*looks at our Italy* THE CAPITAL), but he can be surprisingly smart if he thinks.

He speaks in Taglish usually, (Tagalog-English XD Sort of a bad habit) but he can speak in pretty good English compared to the other Asians.

------------

Pets:
Note: Which group of islands their name is has absolutely no relation to where you can find that animal. I literally looked at the shapes of the islands. XD

Luzon: The Philippine Eagle. He is not officially Piri-kun's pet, bet he drops by once in a while, and they're sort of friends. Think how Tony is to America.

Visayas: The tarsier who lives under Piri-kun's hat. He's really asleep most of the time, but he sleeps with his eyes open. Note that it is obviously not legal to house a tarsier under your hat IRL. In fact, I think it's now illegal to house them at all. I also phail at drawing tarsiers.

Mindanao: Piri-kun's faithful and trusty carabao. He works with him at the farm. He's very hardworking. He is in love with the tamaraw in the forest despite the fact that Piri-kun keeps trying to explain to him that they're not the same thing. *shot*

-----------

Relations:
Piri-kun was raised by Spain-san until he resisted and announced his independence, only to find out that he had been given to America-san (Because this is the Treaty of PARIS, I am amused). He was furious at first, but then he got to know America-san and they became friends. well, frenemies, actually. Piri-chan wanted his independence, after all. That's where Kiku came in. When America kicked in the war, Piri-chan got mixed up in it because of his being under America-san. For a short time, America had to withdraw and leave Piri-chan with Kiku, who wasn't very nice to him...

America came back soon and managed to get Kiku to give him back, and after awhile, helped Piri-kun declare his own independence.

As of now, America and Piri-kun are still good friends, with Piri-kun looking up to America.

Spain and Piri-kun doesn't really get to communicate much anymore, but Piri-kun owes a lot to Spain for raising him and everything.

As for Kiku, after the war, he apologized and fixed all the damage he did in Piri-kun's home (which I only found out by rereading the book), and soon he introduced most of Piri-kun's modern-day likes. Nowadays, Piri-kun has completely forgiven Kiku-kun, and they're actually pretty good friends.

China has known since before Spain found him, and thus, they go a long way back. A lot of people here are Chinese-Filipino, in fact (including this person right here).

He's also close to Korea, and has helped him out a couple of times. (I know a handful of Koreans, too.)

((If I'm missing something or have a typo, I'll change it later. I'm getting tired over here. ;_; ))
